Pizza Night

Yep, that is correct. It’s pizza night in our house. Seems like that we have pizza night quite often (I know, not surprising for FIVE kids to want pizza all the time); but hey, it’s easy for Mom, it’s easy for Dad and the kids aren’t screaming, too loud. Decided to go with an old favorite local take and bake. Thank goodness for small business tonight.

A Little About Dad

Some call me Dad, some call me Calhoun. My actual first name is Jonathan. I'm a Truck Driver by trade, and a family man at heart. I love my big family. I am a United States Army Veteran, and a proud member of The American Legion. So much so, that I am highly motivated, and heavily involved in my local post of Post 18, Dept. of California, American Legion. I'm a bit of a nerd as far as internet stuff. I have recently started this blog(duh), and built a website from almost scratch for my legion post.(calegionpost18.org).  I tend to lean to one side of things in this world, and enjoy my freedoms enthusiastically. I'll listen to people and their opinions, but I don't often change mine much unless there is a burden of proof. Some like it, some don't. I don't really care. I'm just here on this planet to deliver goods by truck, raise five amazing children, and reach out to Veterans and the local community. I'd like to end this by saying, if you ever need any on...

Welcome

This is a new thing for me and my family. We'll see how it goes. Anyways, I am Dad. My wife and I have known each other since ~2005 in high school. We found each other again in mid 2014, and have been together ever since. When we got married in March of 2015, she brought two beautiful daughters, and I brought one handsome son. Fast forward five years into our marriage, and we have since added two more daughters. Yes, that's right; we are a total of seven in this household. I wouldn't change it for the world. My wife is a professional SAHM(stay at home mom), and I am a professional Truck Driver. This summer, however, i am a SAHF(?). Our oldest had surgery on June 15th, and I am home for a good chunk of this summer. More on that later... Anyways, welcome to our family blog. I'm not sure how successful or far this will go, but we'll give it a shot. 😊 -Dad
